Wayzata Capital Management, Inc. (WCM) is an independent investment management company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded in 1996, it was one of the first asset management groups in the United States solely dedicated to the markets of the Developing Europe. Our vision is to help our clients make the most of their financial future through investments in markets of the New Europe.
WCM was established by Maciek G. Kaminski, who during his 25 years with major investment firms investing worldwide; saw the ever-increasing investment potential in Europe’s equity markets. WCM acts as the investment advisor and is responsible for the day to day management of the client’s portfolios.
Additionally, Wayzata Capital offers participation in the domestic markets of the U.S. Using the same style of selecting undervalued, growth companies, the WCM oversees domestic accounts much like its European portfolio.
In December 2005, WCM began it's joint venture with Regan Investments, a domestic money management firm.
On March 31, 2008, WCM began its sub-advisory relationship with Eastern Capital Fund Ltd., a Geneva, Switzerland, based investment fund. The Fund invests in the Eastern European region and offers shares to both US and International Investors.
