INVESTMENT FOCUS
The principal investment objective of the Privately Managed Accounts is to provide long-term capital growth, primarily through investments in equity securities traded in Developing Europe. The portfolios have access to the following markets, either on an individual country basis or a combination thereof: Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Turkey, Russia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Greece.
INVESTMENT STRATEGY
With the development of the New Europe, over time, these markets may produce greater returns than some of the more mature markets of the developed world. These economies are seeing, and should be seeing, new markets open up in sectors that were previously only seen in the U.S. In the region we look for strong economic fundamentals, political stability and markets that remain forthright in their objective toward a sound investment climate and a unified world economy.
